Washington, DC (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Iowa Senator Joni Ernst is co-sponsoring a bill supporting AM Radio.

The bill advanced out of committee, and is now one step closer to becoming law to keep AM Radios in new vehicles. Ernst says on X/Twitter that this law would ensure Iowans have access to entertainment, news, weather reports, and emergency alerts that AM radio provides.

KICD AM is not the co-sponsor of this bill with Ernst, but we do applaud her hard work.
