Fort Dodge, Ia (KICD) – The Spencer Girls Swim team traveled to Fort Dodge on Saturday for the Gary Winkler Invitational.

The Spencer 200-yard Medley Relay team of Halle Sears, Ella Kasperbauer, Lily Gross, and Ava Vogt finished 2nd with a time of 1:59.89.

Kasperbauer would take 3rd in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 27.82 seconds.

Sears would claim 1st place in the 100 Yard Butterfly, clocking 59.5 seconds.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Vogt, Maisy Schmidt, Gross, and Sears took 2nd with a time of 1:47.39.

Halle Sears would pick up another 1st place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.92 seconds.

Lily Gross would follow that up with a win in the 100-yard Breaststroke, finishing in 1:09.07.  She was complimented by Ella Kasperbauer who took 3rd at 1:16.38.

The Tigers would take 2nd in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a team made up of Maisy Schmidt, Emily Schmidt, Ava Vogt, and Ella Kasperbauer.  They swam a time of 4:20.11.

The Tigers would place 2nd with 318 points to Sioux City Metro’s 390.
