Arnolds Park, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Okoboji Foundation is taking applications for the 2026-2027 Youth in Philanthropy Initiative.
Administrative Director Ali Schmitz says the program is designed to teach high school students the impact philanthropy, nonprofit organizations, and fundraising can have on a community; and also, to develop fundraising and leadership skills.
Members meet once a month.
Students from Harris Lake Park, Okoboji, and Spirit Lake are eligible to participate. Applications can be found on the Okoboji Foundation website and are due back by September 10th.
