Spirit Lake, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Art lovers have a chance to hit the road this weekend for a unique tour through the region’s creative spaces.

Danielle Klaus Gast, Director of Visual Arts at the Pearson Lakes Art Center, says 21 different artists are participating this year.

Six of the artists will be located at the Pearson Lakes Art Center, with the others opening their own individual studios to visitors. The weather is forecast to be a perfect fall weekend for the drive.

 

Participants can build their own itinerary by visiting the artists that interest them most. A full map and directory of the artists and their locations can be found online at Lakes Art dot O-R-G or on the “Artisan’s Road Trip” Facebook page.

The Artisan’s Road Trip runs this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m..
