Orleans, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Northwest Iowa Fisheries Biologist Mike Hawkins is a monthly guest on Newsradio KICD. This week he told us West Okoboji has turned for the year.

 

Hawkins says the DNR is also monitoring low water levels in area streams, which might lead to some kills over the winter.

 

Hawkins headquarters at the DNR Hatchery in Orleans but covers the entire Northwest corner of Iowa.
