Storm Lake, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — “Transforming the residential experience” is the mission for Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, and new apartment-style dorms on campus should add to the premier on-campus living experience. An open house on Friday, May 2 was the first look at the completed dorms, and hundreds from BVU and the Storm Lake community showed up to get a tour. Marketing and Communications Director Megan Ogren gave Audrey a personal tour, and these are not the dorm rooms older generations remember.

Yes, the microwave is big enough to hold a whole pizza, and the resident has total control over the temp, too.

It should be noted the top floor has floor to ceiling windows and has a great view of the lake, too. The building will be open to students in Fall 2025.
