Spencer, IA (northwestiowanow) — Community members are invited to learn more about the Clay County Fair’s year-round activities and opportunities for involvement next month.

The Clay County Fair Association is hosting the Blue Ribbon Social: A Night Out to Join the Fair Family on Friday, November 13th, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Clay County Regional Events Center in Spencer.

The Blue-Ribbon Social is open to those 21 and older. A cash bar will be available for guests of legal drinking age.

The event will feature Fair-inspired food stations, a live DJ, interactive games, and friendly competitions.

Clay County Fair Board members will be on hand to meet with attendees and discuss opportunities to get involved with the Fair Association.

Lifetime membership is available to anyone, regardless of where they live, for a one-time cost of $100 with no annual dues. Members can vote in elections for the Association’s Board of Directors, attend the annual meeting, and run for Association offices.

Tickets are $29 per couple and are available through the Clay County Fair Office, by calling 712-580-3000, or by contacting a current Clay County Fair Board member. Attendance is limited.
