Cherokee, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Cherokee Police department says a minor on a moped was injured a block East of the Cherokee schools Thursday morning. The accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 59 and Bluff Street at 7:30am. Chief Nate James says the minor was taken by ambulance to the Cherokee Regional Medical Center.
