Cherokee, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Skateboarders in Cherokee now have a place to practice their craft. Sheree Hausmann served on the committee that raised the funds for construction.

Hausman tells Northwestiowanow.com the skate park was nearly complete when the flood hit.

The Cherokee Skate Park was officially dedicated September 28th.
