Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — City of Spencer has launched a new mobile app, designed to improve communication and provide residents with quick access to essential information. The app was created in direct response to the 2024 Flood, which showed how crucial timely and accurate information for the community.
The app integrates directly with the Flood Center of Iowa, offering real-time river level data and notifications for when conditions change. But it’s not just for flood alerts. The Spencer Iowa app also provides weather alerts, city news and announcements, a tool to report problems directly to City staff, and resources from the city’s new website, which just launched in July.
You can download the app today in the Apple or Google Store. Those who need help getting started, the Spencer Library staff is available to assist, and you can contact city hall directly with questions.
