Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — The Clay County Board of Supervisors met last Tuesday for their final session of May, approving more than $423,000 in county expenditures.

The board also rescheduled a public hearing for the fiscal year 2026 county budget amendment. That hearing is now set for Tuesday, June 9th at 9:15 AM.  Today (Tues June 2) supervisors are back in session for a practical disaster training simulation meeting at 10:00 AM at the Emergency Operations Center on West 4th Street for a tabletop disaster exercise.

The next regular Clay County Board of Supervisors meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th at 8:30 AM at the Administration Building.
