Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — A Spencer man is back in custody today after the Clay County Sheriff’s Office executed an active warrant involving multiple felony charges. On Wednesday morning, April 15, at 11:30 am, deputies took Alex Morley, 21, into custody at the Sheriff’s office.

The arrest warrant details several serious allegations, including sexual exploitation of a minor, Class B Felony, Grooming, Class D Felony, and two counts of sex offender registry violations and two counts of dissemination of obscene material to minors.

This is not Morley’s first interaction with the legal system. Court records indicate he previously entered a guilty plea in March of this year for a separate registration violation.

Morley is being held in the Clay County Jail on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
