Royal, Iowa (Northwest Iowa Now) — What began in 1937 during the Dust Bowl as a reaction to reduced waterfowl populations, Ducks Unlimited continues to support efforts for waterfowl conservation, restoration and management of wetlands. The Clay County Ducks Unlimited Chapter has their annual banquet this weekend, and John Coulander gives details on the event.
Coulander says they have around 25 firearms plus other auction items, and money raised benefits conservation efforts locally and across the country.
The Clay County Ducks Unlimited Banquet this Saturday, April 5 at the Great Hall of Royal, 4:30 social hour, followed by brisket and pork loin meal, live and silent auction. Limited Tickets at the door available $40 single, $60 couples, $20 green wings (under 18). Contact Sam for tickets 712-260-1439.
