Spencer, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — For those of you keeping track of how many days until the fair – this Monday will be 200 days until this year’s Clay County Fair – September 6th-14th.

Fair Manager Jerome Hertel tells us fairgoers are able to save money on advance gate admission tickets.  Fairgoers can get an advance discount on adult gate admission tickets for only $9 – that is a 25% savings – for ages 13 and up.  The advanced gate tickets can be purchased on the fair’s website, or by calling 515-244-2771.

A lot of people have been curious who will be performing at the main grandstand during this year’s fair? Hertel expects to make an announcement soon in early March.  When that announcement is made – you’ll be able to hear about it on all of our SRG stations.
