Spencer, IA (Northwestiowa.com) — The instant review of the 2025 Clay County Fair is a positive one.

Fair Board Chairman Greg Lear appeared last night on the nightly KICD Wrap-Up Show to thank the staff and volunteers for pulling off the yearly tradition.

Lear says there have been several short board meetings throughout the fair, but the group will sit down soon for a formal post mortem.

Fair CEO Jason Brockshus says the official attendance count might be released early this week.
