Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Last week we reported that Clay County was having trouble finding applicants for the county road engineer’s job. Today we learned that they’ve hired Dickinson County Engineer Cole Budach.

Budach gave his 30 days’ notice to the Dickinson County Supervisors today along with his thanks. He says a shorter commute was one reason he considered the change.
