Des Moines, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Iowa legislature wrapped up its work Thursday morning. Republican State Senator Dave Rowley from Spirit Lake says the top three accomplishments include bill that gives the Governor access to resources during a disaster.

Rowley was one of 12 Republicans to demand a vote on eminent domain. He tells Northwestiowanow.com it reaches further than just the current carbon pipeline proposal.

Rowley represents Northern Clay County including Spencer, and all of Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, and Winnebago Counties.
