Spirit Lake, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — There were three challenged races in Dickinson County – all Republicans.
For Dickinson County Board of Supervisors District 1 – Dan Taylor defeated Beth Will with 295 votes; to Will’s 260.  In District 4 – Thaddeous Cook defeated the incumbent Steve Clark, 399 votes to 173.  And former Dickinson County Attorney Bethany Brands-Lampe will be able to try and get her job back.  Brands-Lamps defeated the appointed County Attorney Melanie Summer-Bauler 1,410 to 754 votes.
