Spencer, IA (northwestiowanow) — Spencer Main Street is encouraging residents to dine downtown as Downtown Restaurant Week continues through Saturday.

Spencer Main Street Executive Director Nancy Naeve says customers have a chance to win prizes while supporting their local restaurants.

All 11 eateries in downtown Spencer are participating in this year’s promotion.

Naeve says Spencer Main Street intentionally schedules Restaurant Week immediately after the Clay County Fair.

Each of the restaurants will award a $20 gift card as well as a chance for a larger grand prize.

Downtown Restaurant Week runs through Saturday, September 26th.
