Milford, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The shell of the new elementary school in Milford is complete with work shifting to the interior.

Superintendent Will Dible says the start of construction was delayed by wet weather, but a dry summer has allowed crews to catch up.

It was hoped work would be done at the high school for the start of school, but there were a few snags.

No decision has been made on how to dispose of the current elementary building in Milford, but Dible says he has had numerous inquiries from parties interested in buying it.
