Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) –It started as an English tradition, and now Spencer has made this tradition its own. The Festival of Lessons and Carols returns this Sunday at Sacred Heart Church, and the community is invited to attend.

Rutt says the choir is around 50 singers, and a childrens choir will also perform. The event is free, and again is this Sunday afternoon at Sacred Heart in Spencer and begins at 3 p.m.
