Palo Alto County (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Two separate narcotics investigations by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office led to four arrests and five individuals facing drug charges.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office reports the execution of two separate search warrants on Thursday, October 30th. Both warrants stemmed from ongoing county narcotics investigations.
In Curlew, a search at 4549 380th Avenue resulted in the arrests of 57-year-old Patrick Keith Johnson and 48-year-old Amber Marie Polson. Both are charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Separately, in Ruthven, a search at 1207 Center Street led to the arrests of 43-year-old Joshua Allen Roelofsen and 46-year-old Lindsay Michele Douglas on the same felony charge of Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, as well as Paraphernalia. 18-year-old Colby James Roelofsen was also arrested and charged with first-offense possession of marijuana and two simple misdemeanors.
All five individuals were booked into the Palo Alto County Jail.
The Sheriff’s Office received assistance from multiple agencies in both operations, including the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force. Authorities note that a criminal charge is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
