Everly IA, (Northwest Iowa Now) – An Everly man died in motorcycle accident Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred in the 1500 block of 24 and 350th St.  According to the report, 54-year-old Douglas Nielsen of Everly was eastbound on 350th St, following a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Amber Champine of May City.

Nielsen struck the rear of Champine’s vehicle and was thrown from his motorcycle and struck by 62-year-old Kenneth Ulatowski of Sheldon, who was west bound.  Nielsen was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to a Funeral Home.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Department, Fostoria fire, Spencer Fire and ambulance and Buds Tow service.
