Emmetsburg, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Garner man found guilty of Homicide by Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol in August has been given an indeterminant sentence up to 25 years in prison.

Brian Freeman was the driver in an accident that killed 26 year old Landon Schiek near Cylinder in June of 2022. He was being held at the Palo Alto County jail since the trail, but was transferred to the Iowa Medical Classification Center in Coralville last week.
