Lake Park, IA (KICD) — The Harris Lake Park school board held its final public presentation on three bond issues options last night. Superintendent Les Douma says a total of only about 80 residents attended one of the five sessions held over the past week.
The three options are a new elementary buildingl for 17.1 million dollars, some bare bones repairs at the current site for 11 million, or extensive repairs and updates for Eighteen and a half.
Douma says F.E.H. architects consulted with actual contractors to come up with those prices.
The Harris Lake Park school board meets Monday night and is expected to select one of those options for a fall bond issue to go before voters.
