SPENCER, IA (Northwestiowanow) – Spencer Kiwanis After Five is hosting a new fundraiser for the holiday season.

The group will be selling Christmas wreaths in collaboration with Del’s Garden Center. Club President Dawn Feucht says proceeds will go toward scholarships and other community projects.

The wreaths are $40 each, and orders must be placed by September 30th. Anyone interested can contact any Spencer Kiwanis After Five member or Feucht directly at 712-240-8574.  She says the club will also be taking orders in person later this weekend.

Feucht says one of the club’s recent efforts, the Sweet Dreams for Spencer project, helped replace beds and bedding for 110 children following the flood.  The wreaths are expected to be available for pickup at Dell’s Garden Center in November. Feucht says the pickup dates are November 22nd and 23rd.
