Spirit Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Iowa Great Lake Board of Realtors has released sales stats for second quarter of 2026. Executive Director Krista Stafford says the average sales price in Clay County fell twelve percent to just over 208 thousand dollars.
April, May, and June also saw the first decrease in home prices in the Iowa Great Lakes in recent memory, falling 8.5 percent to just over 624 grand.
For the first six months of the year Clay County home prices are down 4 percent, they’re down 2.7 percent for Dickinson County, but up 16 percent year to date in Emmet County.
