Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Superintendent of Horse Activities at the Clay County Fair says it was a typically busy year. Other horse shows in the region reported lower numbers this summer, but Holly Wilson says there were about thirteen hundred entries both weekends – about normal.
Wilson is pleased that Clay County 4-Hers themselves devised a fund raiser for flood relief.
And participants both weekends spontaneously passed the hat for flood relief.
