Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Spencer Fire Department extinguished another house fire Monday. They were dispatched to 813 11th Avenue West at 4pm to find smoke showing from all four sides of the soffit, peak of the roof, and second floor windows. Initial attack was made through the front door with the fire out by 6:30. No word yet on the cause or extent of the damage.
