Hull, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A Hull man has been sentenced to twelve years in federal prison after pleading guilty to firearms and drug charges.
As we previously reported, 24-year-old Victor Perez-Martinez pled guilty back in May to four counts of distributing meth in Clay and Sioux Counties, possession with the intent to distribute, conspiracy to distribute, and possession of a firearm as a prohibited person.
Authorities executed a search warrant in October of 2023 and uncovered 329 grams of meth, two cell phones, over 4 thousand dollars in cash, and a .380 handgun.
Agencies participating in the investigation include Spencer Police, the Clay County Sheriff’s Department, Iowa State Patrol, and the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement.
Judge Leonard T. Strand has sentenced Perez-Martinez to 144 months in prison without parole, followed by ten years of supervised release.
