Spirit Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Highway 9 between highway 86 in Dickinson County west to the Osceola County line is closed for a paving rehabilitation project.

The Northwest Iowa District Department of Transportation office in Sioux City says work will begin Monday and might take until Halloween.

District 3 Transportation planner says access will be maintained to residences and businesses, but you are rugged to avoid the highway and follow the marked detours.
