Estherville IA, (Northwest Iowa Now) — Recently the Iowa lakes Corridor of Development and the Estherville Chamber of Commerce hosted a lunch and learn session at Iowa lakes Community College.

The speaker Kathy Anderson, who serves as Iowa workforce Business Administrator spoke with Northwest Iowa Now after her presentation about some of the trends she’s seeing statewide.

 

Anderson says the team leader that businesses should contact in the area would likely be familiar since she previously worked in Spencer.

 

Anderson also spoke about the capabilities of the new mobile unit.

Anderson says one of the areas where Iowa truly shines is in apprenticeships.

 

The event was postponed from its original date, which was scheduled back in June.
