Wilder, MN (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Minnesota State Patrol says a Worthington man died in a one-vehicle traffic accident around 6:20 Wednesday morning in Northern Jackson County.

43-year-old Miguel Heredia was Southbound on Highway 60 near Wilder when the 2008 Ford Edge struck icy roads, entered the South ditch, and rolled.

Due to the location, the state patrol was assisted at the scene by the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s department, and Windom police, fire, and ambulance.  The accident report says Heredia was not wearing a safety belt.
