Sioux Rapids, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Iowa General Assembly gavels into session January 12th. State Representative Megan Jones from Sioux Rapids says her Republican party will again take up property tax reform.

Jones – who works in the Buena Vista County Attorney’s office – says the legislature will also take up mandatory sentences for convicted felons.

Jones represents most of Clay County including Spencer, and eastern Buena Vista county including Storm Lake.
