Emmetsburg, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — As of July 1st, Palo Alto and Kossuth Counties no longer share an economic development director.

Todd Faris served as executive director at what was HAD been called the Kossuth Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation.

 

 

Leaders in Kossuth County decided to rebrand as the Kossuth AREA Economic Development Corporation. Faris says the word “area” is an important distinction.

 

 

Faris says they’re currently working with multiple businesses in Algona, a new business looking at Bancroft, and a new daycare center in Titonka.
