Spencer, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — The Clay County Fair announced this afternoon a change in the lineup of the SRG Concert Series.

The fair said in a press release, “due to health-related reasons within the band, The Mavericks concert on Monday, September 9th has been cancelled.” The Clay County Fair has secured a replacement act, the group Lonestar will be the headline act on September 9th. The Jorgensens will continue to take the stage as the opening act.

Anyone who has already purchased a ticket for the Monday evening concert will still be able to attend. For those Maverick fans who would like to request a refund, please email info@midwestix.com by Friday, September 6, 2024. Any tickets redeemed (scanned at the concert) will not be refunded. As a reminder, the $5 per ticket handling & processing fee, which was applied to all purchase methods, is non-refundable. If you purchased your ticket in cash, please stop by the Clay County Fair Office to request your refund. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from when the request comes in.
