Spencer, IA (northwestiowanow.com) — The Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation is celebrating Manufacturing Month.

CEO Curt Strouth says small manufacturers sometimes become major employers.

Strouth says the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation kicked off manufacturing month with a discussion with elected official to identify barriers to employee recruitment; and continues with tours of Art’s Way Manufacturing in Armstrong, Polaris in Spirit Lake, M.W.I. Components in Spencer, and RANCO in Sioux Rapids.
