Spencer, IA (northewestiowanow.com) — Trick or Treat night in Spencer will be on Thursday night, but Mainstreet Director Nancy Naeve says downtown businesses will be hosting beggars Saturday.

Mainstreet then shifts to the holiday season, and gets things started with a contest to decorate the planters along Grand Avenue.
