Ringsted, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Multiple law enforcement agencies with drones and dogs helped the Emmet County Sheriff’s department find two suspects caught trying to burglarize a farm near Ringsted.
The landowner at 2545 490th Avenue called 9-1-1 around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon to say two individuals wearing masks were on this farm and fled further onto his property when they realized they had been spotted. A perimter was set up and about 3 and a half hours later a K-9 unit found Jory Embacher and Brenson Juni from New Ulm hiding in a pile of appliances. They each have been charged with 3rd degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. Sheriff Justin Schultes say further charges are likely.
