Milford IA (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Milford has a new Public Works building, and Director Kent Eilers says the new structure is a big step forward for the city.

The new shop will give the mechanic more room to service all of the city vehicles and equipment.

The Milford Police Department also has improved working conditions. They moved into a vacant bank on North Highway 71, but Chief Shilo Brevik says some modifications have recently been completed.

The former Milford Police Department was crammed into one room in the old city hall building downtown.
You can tour both facilities tonight at an open house from 5 to 7.
