Milford, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — Milford Police Chief Shilo Brevik has released details on two recent arrests.
Around midnight Sunday morning authorities were called to a disturbance in the 12 hundred block of L Avenue. They say 34-year-old Paul Davis was combative, and backups were called form the Arnolds Park, Okoboji, and Spirit Lake police departments, and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office. Davis was charged with: Interference with Official Acts causing bodily harm, assault on a police officer, threat of terrorism, harassment of a public official, disorderly conduct, and public intox. They say he also vandalized city property prior to their arrival, and he was charged with 5th degree criminal mischief.

At around 6:45 Saturday night Milford police had been called to the 15 hundred block of Okoboji Avenue for the report of suspicious activity. They report smelling the odor of marijuana as they approached a parked car. After investigating further, 25-year-old Aliya Crane of Crystal, Minnesota was charged with possession of marijuana and psilocybin. 26-year-old Phillip Manz of Emmetsburg was charged with possession of marijuana.
