MILFORD, IA – The City of Milford is inviting residents to an open house to discuss the proposed conversion of US 71 from four lanes to three lanes. The event will take place on tonight from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Milford Community Center, located at 806 N Ave, Milford, IA 51351.

The proposed change would mirror the existing three-lane configuration in Arnolds Park and aims to improve safety along the corridor. City officials and their consulting team, Bolton & Menk, will be present to provide information, answer questions, and gather public feedback.

Residents can view a proposed map, potential benefits, and considerations related to the conversion by visiting the city’s website.  An online survey is currently open and will remain available until March 14th.
