Spirit Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A Minnesota man has been charged with drug trafficking in Dickinson County.

Dickinson County Sheriff Greg Baloun says 42 year old Juan Roberto Rodriguez of Fairmont was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over for speeding Monday night. A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered five bags of methamphetamine totaling more than 11 grams, multiple bags of marijuana totaling more than 100 grams, baggies with a white residue in them, drug paraphernalia, and 335 dollars in cash.

Rodriguez was also charged with possession of paraphernalia and two drug tax stamp violations.
