Spencer, IA (northwestiowanow) — The Prairie Lakes Division of the National Model Railroad Association is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a Train Show.

Prairie Lakes Superintendent Jay Davis says the Division serves model railroad enthusiasts across Northwest Iowa and surrounding areas.

Saturday’s show will multiple things to do.

Those looking to add to their own model railroad collections will also have plenty to browse.

The Prairie Lakes Division Train Show runs 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, October 3rd, at the Regional Events Center at the Spencer fairgrounds. Admission is $3 for those 12 and older, with children 11 and under admitted free.

The Smoky Mountain Railroad display at the Depot Building will also be open during the event.
