Milford, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Chief of Police in Milford has released additional information about an arrest last week.
We previously reported 58-year-old Daniel Gibson – who is residing in Milford and serving probation for a conviction in Texas – was taken into custody Wednesday for violating conditions of his release.
Chief Shilo Brevik says his local authorities were contacted by the Iowa Department of Corrections Tuesday about the possible violation, a search warrant was obtained and served right away at 9am the next day. Brevik says six firearms were found at the residence, leading to six Indvidual charges.
Milford police were assisted by police from Arnolds Park, Okoboji, Spirit Lake, and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department.
