Milford, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A Milford man was taken to a South Dakota hospital with incapacitating injuries following a one vehicle motorcycle accident on Highway 71 in North Milford Saturday evening.

49 year old Chad Banks was unresponsible and was given CPR when law enforcement arrived on the scene around 6:20pm.  He was taken by Lakes Ambulance to the hospital in Spirit Lake and transferred to Sioux Falls.

Milford Police were assisted by Arnolds Park and Okoboji Police and the Milford Fire Department. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
