Palo Alto County Traffic Stop Results in Multiple Charges for Emmetsburg Woman

PALO ALTO COUNTY, IA (Northwestiowanow) — An early Friday morning traffic stop in Palo Alto County led to multiple charges for an Emmetsburg woman.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says the stop happened around 4:40 a.m. in the 4500 block of 460th Avenue – just North of Mallard.  The driver identified as 45-year-old Nichole Li, was taken into custody following the stop.

She has been charged with first offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, OWI and open container.
