Holstein, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Multiple KICD 9-County Area teams attended the Tim Thomas XC Classic in Holstein Saturday.

In the Class A Girls Race, Natalie Anderson of MOC-Floyd Valley continues her dominant season with an 18:44 first place finish.  Humboldt took 2nd through 4th with Avery Fisher running 19:41.52, Brynn Malo clocking 20:02.99, and Aubry Fisher going 20:03.78.  Bishop Heelan of Sioux City’s Addison Bertrand finished 5th at 20:5.91.

Spencer’s Alexandria Palmer took 11th to lead the Tigers with a time of 21:22.08 and Minne Matthiesen turned in a great finish with a 13th place time of 21:39.23.

For the Class B Girls Race, it was West Monona’s Chloe Broer winning with a time of 20:21.92, Logan-Magnolia’s Allysen Johnsen took 2nd at 20:26.27, Mareni Brabec of Newell-Fonda placed 3rd at 20:44.1, Bishop Garrigan of Algona got a 4th place finish from Julia Swift at 21:01.95, and Emmetsburg’s Racel Schany was 5th at 21:01.95.

MOC-Floyd Valley took the Class A Team title with 49 points, putting all 5 scorers in the top 15.  Bishop Heelan of Sioux City was 2nd with 63 points, and Humboldt took 3rd with 68.  Spencer was 4th with 107 points.

Sioux Central was led by Marley Madsen with a time of 21:04.8 in 6th.  Cherokee’s Grace Woodall was 7th at 21:05.21.  Also, in the top 10 for Newell-Fonda was Quinn Sievers in 9th at 21:20.44 and Sioux Central’s Sage Weber took 10th at 21:32.28.

Alta-Aurelia’s Hyden Berkland paced the Warriors with a 11th place time of 21:32.76.  Sibley-Ocheyedan was led by a 22:12.34 time that put Aleah Marco in 15th.

Norah Danbom took the lead for Okoboji in 37th with a time of 23:54.34.

Sawyer Storms of Pocahontas Area would finish 52nd with a time of 24:28.39.

Newell-Fonda got a season defining win for the Class B Title, scoring 68 points.  Sibley-Ocheyedan took 2nd at 97 and St. Edmond of Fort Dodge placed 3rd with 126 points.  Alta-Aurelia was 4th, Sioux Central 5th, Cherokee 7th, Okoboji 8th, and Emmetsburg took 11th.

In the Class A Boys Race, Kuma Gutema from North of Sioux City put together a dominant win, crossing the line in 15:29.7.  MOC-Floyd Valley’s Isaac Hummel was 2nd at 16:43.1, and Ben Hames took 3rd for North of Sioux City with a time of 16:44.

Spencer was led by Ade Thomas with a time of 18:44.4.

North of Sioux City finished 1st with a team score of 39, putting their top 4 in the top 10.  MOC-Floyd Valley was 2nd with 67 points, and Kuemper Catholic of Carroll was 3rd with 75.

For the Class B Boys Race, Riverside took the top 2 spots with Brody Henderson hitting 16:44.5 and teammate Dawson Henderson finishing in 16:47.5.  Sioux Central’s Lucos Wernimont was 3rd with a time of 16:55.5.  Riverside’s Owen Fenner was 4th at 17:06.9, and Aiden Summerfield would finish 5th with a time of 17:07.1.

Emmetsburg’s Ben Cox led the E-Hawks with a time of 18:04 flat to finish 16th.  Okoboji’s JD Gravert led the3 Pioneers in 22nd with a time of 18:15.1, right in front of Alta-Aurelia’s Jacob Launderville at 18:15.3.

Cherokee’s Clayton Sherbring was 31st at 18:47.5. Eric Kleinwolterink was 53rd with a time of 19:43.

Landen Davenport topped the South O’Brien roster with a time of 20:27.7.

The Top Newell-Fonda runner was Kinnick Kaufman and Pocahontas Area was led by Julio Valenzuela.

Riverside blew away the Class B field with 33 points, 82 points in front of 2nd place East Sac County.  Okoboji was 3rd with 120.  Sioux Central was 4th, Alta-Aurelia 9th, Cherokee 11th, South O[Brien was 17th and Newell-Fonda took 18th.
