Sheldon IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon held a public ribbon cutting for their new student housing complex Sioux Hall on Wednesday morning.

Northwest Iowa Community College President John Hartog III says the new hall will allow more students to have an on-campus college experience.

NCC now has a residence hall named for every county in their service area Cherokee, Osceola, O’Brien, Lyon and Sioux.

Sioux Hall has a capacity of 48 students, bringing the total number of students living on campus to 226.  NCC recently announced a record enrollment for the second straight year.
