Orleans, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Spirit Lake fire department was called out twice over the weekend to a house fire in Orleans. Chief Pat Daly believes the cause at 133 252nd Avenue was electric.

The Spirit Lake crew was at the scene for three hours Friday night with assistance from the Arnolds Park / Okoboji and Superior Fire Departments, and again for two hours around noon Saturday when the fire rekindled.  The Dickinson County Assessor’s website lists Cory Grabinoski as the owner of the structure.
